Big Girl Pants

It's happening. I have full on made a commitment to pants. And I'm not talking about just jeggings (although, they're still my favorite). I'm talking about PANTS. I picked up this pair on my Gap excursion with bae a couple weekends ago. They're called the "Sexy Boyfriend" jean. Very appropriate considering the beast of a man that I am dating :P I still feel a little odd in pants like these, but it's refreshing to be able to rock different looks from my usual pretty pretty princess dresses.

Currently in State College, PA on my second to last recruiting trip of the season. It all went by so quickly!! I spent the weekend in Florida with my parents, brother and sister. It felt so good to all be together again! Family time was definitely something I took for granted as a kid. I know better now though, I cherish all the time I can get with my family to the max! We took an impromptu day trip to Disneyworld and one of my favorite parts was getting some 1:1 time with my baby brother. My motivation for getting through these next few days of recruiting is the fact that I'm going to Disneyland this weekend! Is this real life?! Both Disney parks in one week?! AH! Can't wait to share my outfit for Mickey's Halloween party!

$4 Dolla Holla!

As much as I appreciate Fall, I love that Seattle allows me to make a slow transition to sweater weather. PNW's temperature is up and down day to day so sometimes I'm still able to sneak around in bare legs. On this particular day, I got to rock a $4 dollar dress I found at the Gap during my shopping excursion with bae in downtown Seattle. FOUR DOLLARS. The Asian Tiger Mom within me was absolutely thrilled. I love the soft linen and the sweet light blue denim color. It's a perfect base for this Asian printed KIMono. Y'all might also know that I am not the greatest at accessorizing. Not because I lack the goods, but because I'm a little lazy. One of my goals for fall is to get back in touch with my bling bling side. Dream, Believe, ACHIEVE! haha. Okay, so maybe I'm writing this while running on 1.5 hours of sleep because who sleeps on a red eye?! I'm currently in Florida visiting my baby brother and parents. My wish to remain in summer would definitely come true here! Hope all of your weeks are coming to a great close. It's almost Friday!!!

Blonde Brigade

Kasey is responsible for more than half of my outfit shots. She has put up with my silly photo requests since day 1 of this blog and I couldn't be more grateful. She has an eye for detail and always makes sure I don't look like a crazy person in photos. It's actually kind of difficult to take good photos! I think Kasey's style is pretty fly and on occasion, I'll ask to take her photo as well before we leave my beloved stairwell. Like on this day, after she had refreshed her beautiful blonde locks and they tumbled down her back in glorious golden waves (Yea, I'm a bit obsessed). Kasey was rocking this gorgeous green brocade vintage number she had picked up at the U-district Redlight. I love how creative she was while putting this look together. I never would have thought to pair this piece with a denim vest and shearling boots but the look is bomb!

During our jaunt to Austin, Kasey picked up 5 incredibly gorgeous 50's style dresses and I mentioned that there would be photoshoots in our future. At the very least, there will be some outfit shots! I find myself regularly referring to Kasey's style for outfit inspiration and I'm looking forward to sharing some of Kasey's adorable style on the blog and having photos to reference for later.

I head out on a red eye tonight to spend the weekend with family in Florida! Not gonna lie, glad I have an excuse to continue rocking summer threads. Thanks for reading, Happy Wednesday!
