Happy Friday, pretty pride lovers! I've had quite the week :) Currently in San Francisco where we threw an after party for interns working across all sorts of companies in the bay. Yea, sometimes my job requires playing water pong with 20 year olds and starting the dance floor with coworkers while rocking a glow stick forehead band. It's kind of the tits, not gonna lie. It's been super fun spending time with team members that I don't normally get to see and being reunited with bay area friends. (Okay, Janet, I'm really just talking about you.)

I wanted to get one blog post in before this week comes to a close! I'm back to my casual summer vibes for this week. Simple A-line dress with one one of my favorite kimonos layered on top. For how simple this outfit really is, it's also very pretty and interesting enough to garner inquiries while walking down the street.

ALSO. CAN WE TALK ABOUT FUCK YEA MARRIAGE EQUALITY?!?!? Ah, pride is this weekend in San Fran and I wish I was staying to celebrate. What an incredible moment in American history! I am so happy and proud of our Supreme Court for making this happen!

On Trend: Long Tunic

Happy Hump Day la-la-loverz! Thank you for all of the love on the last post. Having this blog means it's extra fun when I wear an extra fun outfit! I wanted to deliver something on the same wavelength for this post and I think I made it happen :) This is totally on the bleeding edge of where I typically venture with this aesthetic, but for whatever reason, I was totally drawn to this tunic when I was browsing Forever 21 last week. I came across these printed pants during the same session and BOOM, I bought them both! A gift card from the amazing Gallions helped out with this order :) Actually, this outfit reminds me of a Salwar Kameez, a traditional outfit that I first came across in India. This is definitely one of my most creative outfits! And I finally got to shoot one of my favorite hair pieces for le blog. I included a similar piece in the product links below, be sure to snag your own! It's such a unique and gorgeous hair piece! BTW, I'm not a Forever 21 affiliate, just a hardcore fan :D

Back to Black on Black

Happy Monday, summer lovers! I'm just going to get to the point- in this post, I'm feeling fierce as fuck! This outfit is almost too much, in a really good way :) I picked up this cutout top while shopping with my friend, Riley. Not gonna lie, completely swiped this outfit from her. She paired this crop perfectly with some high waisted leggings in the fitting room and I knew I needed to make it happen. Thanks for being my #styleinspo, Ri! AND THEN there's the photos themselves. I was snapping some photos for my favorite sisters, Kasey and Niky, for their children's birthday party business and I asked Niky to to take a few quick snaps for me. Count on Niky to always pull through! FEELING FIERCE!

I'm stoked about this week! I'm going to Disneyland with the sisters this weekend! We surprised Kasey with the news on Friday and we want to treat her because she's the best friend/sister in the whole wide world! My training with Kayla Itsine's Bikini Body Guide has been AMAZING so far. It's only been a week but I am absolutely hooked. I promise to do a review of weeks 1 - 4! Sage Pocahontas

Happy Hump day, party people! Hot damn, it's been HOTT this week. I am so excited to break out all of my summer favorites! I knew one of the first things I'd want to take for a spin was this beautiful sage midi dress that I purchased at the end of last summer. Surprisingly, it paired nicely with this orange fringe kimono. Gotta say though, my favorite part of this entire outfit is this beaded headband I picked up at an amazing shop called Earthbound Trading Co while gallivanting around Tahoe with girlfriends last weekend. Earthbound has a clear aesthetic: travel hippy chic sparkled by peace, love and all things colorful! Not only was everything in the store well curated, it was very reasonably priced as well. Check them out for summer, they are amazing!

Short Wellies

Happy June, love bugs! Seattle has been serving up some interesting weather. Not sure whether we'll be getting sunshine or rain on any given day :) This week, the trend is back to HOT HOT HOT. As much as I love the summer, I do appreciate the break from the heat. Nobody has air conditioning up here and summer nights can be a bit of a struggle when it gets too warm. Anyways- the bit of drizzle we had a couple weeks ago was a good excuse to break out these short wellies I was hiding away for fall. I picked them up with Jade during our tax free shopping spree to Portland. I'm absolutely obsessed with them! Count on Hilfiger to deliver some classic staples. It seems like I'll be putting the wellies away for the rest of the summer but with the PNW, who knows?

I know my blogging has been pretty inconsistent these last few months. Intern season hit me like a wrecking ball, y'all. Between evening events multiple times a week, getting ready to take on new schools in the fall, taking personal holidays every other weekend, spending time with loved ones and keeping my house in order, it's been a bit cray cray around here. And of course, whenever fun things come up with friends/bae or when I feel like it's time to shake things up with my fitness routine, I'm a firm believer in having it all and just can't say no to the things I really want to do. (ie. taking a break between house chores and gym to write this blog post :D). I'm determined to make time for my priorities. There might be a blog post in my future about balancing priorities but right now, it's FULL STEAM AHEAD!
